Website maintenance that keeps your site in shape
A monthly agreement with no minimum term: updates, backups, monitoring and small content changes. One contact person who answers when something's needed.
Why a website needs maintenance
A website isn't finished on launch day. Domains and SSL certificates expire, platforms update, forms stop working and contact details change. Without someone responsible, small things go unattended until the site is broken or outdated exactly when a customer is looking at it.
A maintenance agreement means someone handles these for you, and you have one person to message when something needs changing.
Who it's for
Anyone with a website and no time, desire or expertise to look after it. The agreement doesn't require that we built the site. We also take over sites built by others, starting with a review of the site's condition, credentials and risks.
What's included
- Platform, library and plugin updates plus security fixes
- Automatic backups and restoration if something breaks
- Round-the-clock uptime monitoring and incident alerts
- Small content changes: texts, images, prices, opening hours (2 hours a month)
- Domain, email DNS settings and hosting management
- Checks that forms and integrations keep working
- Hosting on a fast platform, included in the price
- One contact person and a reply within one business day
How it works
Review: we go through the site, credentials and current hosting. If someone else built the site, we do a health check.
Onboarding: we move the site to a faster platform if needed and switch on monitoring and backups.
Day to day: you email a change request and it's usually done the same or next business day.
Report: once a month, a short summary of what was done and how the site is doing.
Price
Maintenance is billed monthly at a fixed rate with no minimum term, hosting included. Larger changes such as new pages or features are quoted separately before the work starts.
Maintenance questions
Is there a minimum term?
No. Maintenance is billed monthly and you can stop at any time. When you do, you get all credentials and instructions for moving the site.
Do you take over sites built by others?
Yes. We start with a health check of the site's technology, credentials and risks. If the site is in poor shape, we tell you honestly whether it's worth fixing or better rebuilt.
What counts as a small content change?
Updating texts, images, prices, opening hours and the like, about two hours a month. Unused time doesn't carry over, and larger jobs are quoted separately before we start.
What if the site breaks at night?
Monitoring spots an outage within minutes and alerts us. Most incidents are resolved by restoring a backup. Critical incidents are handled outside business hours too.
Tell us what you need.
We reply within one business day, and the first conversation is always free.
